Authentic 2012 Syracuse University Orange Game Used Nike Vapor Elite NCAA Football.
This Syracuse game ball comes with a Steiner Certificate of Authenticity (COA) which confirms its usage against USF Bulls on 10/27/2012, a high scoring game which Syracuse won 37-36. The COA comes with a matching hologram decal affixed to the ball along with a matching decal on the Steiner COA document. The ball apparently came from Steiner with the "USF" marked on athletic tape which at the time was affixed to the ball and I assume over the years the tape lost most of its adhesive strength but luckily had been saved with the ball over all these years. There are tape residue marks on the backside of the football (opposite the logo), but much of that can likely be removed with a good brushing.
I did recently contact Steiner to ask if their COA number was traceable online and apparently any sports memorabilia item prior to 2013 is not included in their online database as the technology wasn't available prior to this time period. However, the older items do come with the physical letterhead COA. The ball itself is still in great shape holding air just fine, lacing is original, and logo is very well intact.
